Willing and Able
These pictures and captions (captions edited by your webmaster) are contributed by Latham Wells, A Battery, 320th Glider Field Artillery Battalion. Latham attended our 2007 reunion and was gracious to sit down with Jack Johnston and give him some of the details. Latham went into Holland on D-Day in a Glider and there is a picture here from inside that Glider on that day! Amazing! That Howitzer you'll see in the picture is a "short nose" 105! On his way to Clarksville to attend the Reunion, Latham's luggage was lost. Fortunately for all of us, he had his picture album in hand. The "captions" on the individual pictures are from Latham through Jack Johnston. Jack spent a good deal of time copying these pictures and visiting with Latham to get this information.
