These efforts are a testament to the professionalism and determination of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Afghan National Security Forces.  The aftermath of these operations has created an environment where the people perceive that they live in a safe district, led by a competent government and secured by an effective and legitimate Afghan National Security Force.  The valorous efforts and determination of Combined Task Force Top Guns has ensured mission accomplishment, dealt a severe blow to enemy forces in Regional Command South and significantly contributed to the Global War on Terrorism in Afghanistan.  The extraordinary heroism and courage displayed by the members of 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment and the cited units are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect distinct credit upon the unit and the United States Army.
